This is an improvisation concert with organist and singer.

Nigel Allcoat enjoys an international reputation as a performer, teacher and composer. As an improviser, he is universally acclaimed as the doyen of his generation. He has been a visiting tutor at the Royal Northern College of Music, and for over 28 years has been teaching organists at Oxford and Cambridge Universities. He has also been a visiting professor at all the major conservatoires in Europe as well as at the Royal Academy in London. His solo debut at The Royal Festival in London was in 1987. In the Philharmonic Hall in St Petersburg in the 1998 Season, he gave the first complete performance of his 24 Concert Etudes. He has been the Director of the International Summer Organ Conservatoire (France) since 1987.
